araştırma niteliğinde olan çalışmada, 4 ilâ 25 yaşlarındaki 84 Fallot tetrolojisinde
hastalığın siyanoz, poliglobuli derecesi, efor kabiliyeti, angiokardiyogramdaki
akciğer dolaşımı bulguları ile tesbit edilen ağırlık derecesi ile EKG arasındaki
ilişkiler incelenmiştir. Hastalığın ağırlık derecesini EKG'de sol prekordial
R dalgası ve R/S oranının güvenilir bir kriter olarak aksettirdiği sonucuna
varılmıştır (Turkish Journal of Pediatrics'teki ingilizce yayının, No.18,

Electrocardiographic observations were investigated
in 84 patients with Fallot’s tetralogy (FT) in whom the pulmonary bloodflow
was reduced to varying extents . The voltage of the R-wave , R/S relations
in V5 and V6 showed an inverse relationship to the degree of severity of the
diseas (p<0.001). On the other hand, no correlation was found between R
and R/S ratio in V1. Optimal ECG criteria were presented which aid in differentiating
mild from severe cases of FTT. The specificity and sensitivity rates were
found to be high enogh to justify their practical use.
The
observations in left-sided precordial leads regressed following systemic-pulmonary
anastomosis although there was no decrease in RVP.
